All our Aussies for adoption require an application to be completed before you can visit or speak with the foster family. We thank you for your understanding.

The standard adoption fee is $300.00, we sometimes will have adjusted prices based on the age and costs incurred on a particular Australian Shepherd.

We are currently in dire need of foster homes in the state of Wisconsin. Many Australian Shepherds are unable to be rescued in Wisconsin, meaning they are put to sleep, for lack of available foster space. If you feel you can offer your home, please consider becoming a foster home with Australian Shepherd Rescue Midwest. Learn more about our Foster Care Program.

We currently do not adopt to individuals located outside our coverage area. We currently cover Illinois, 50 miles east of the Illinois border, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri. If you are outside this zone, we can not adopt. We apologize for the ruling but we have had adoptions fail and have had etremely hard times recovering our Aussies.
