Meet Cooper, a 5 year old black tri Australian Shepherd. Cooper is what we would call a high herd drive Aussie. He will chase cats and herd them into corners, barking the whole time. He will alert when a delivery man of the meter reader arrives. So Cooper is all about protection and collecting things.

So Cooper does have good traits, he is loyal, and very loving of his family, he wants to please and play frisbee and chase the ball. He rides well in a car and walks well on a leash and crates well. We will work on his bad habits and create an excellent Aussie.

Cooper is so far doing as he is expected, in fact his foster dad said he obeys all commands, hasn’t barked or created an aggressive situation, he is really a perfect gentleman. He is doing fine the the resident cat, and even plays with his foster sister Ms. Frankie. We are thinking Cooper, he just needs a strong alpha pack leader who is willing to lay down the rules, and make him stick to it.

Meet Ms Frankie, a beautiful black bi female Aussie/Lab mix who is up to date on all her shots and is spayed. She weighs around 35 pounds.

Ms Frankie loves to run, go for walks, and race along with you on a bike. She also loves to swim (must be the Lab in her, and will fetch sticks all day if you have the arm of a major League pitcher. Ms. Frankie is house broken, gets along well with other dogs, and even with cats and with children. She does pull slightly on a leader. She rides well in a car, but we would suggest she be crated, as she chewed thru a seatbelt she was secured to, and must have felt it was so fun, she chewed the other one.

We suggest a home with a fenced in yard, as she does have a habit of wanting to chase cars, so no invisible fence for this energy Aussie mix.
