ASPCA Mega-Match-A-Thon
Australian Shepherd Rescue Midwest will be doing an all weekend Adopt-A-Thon at the Best Buy in Orland Park Illinois. Bring your Aussie, bring yourself, bring the kids. We will have available Aussies, reviously adopted Aussies and things to buy to help our great cause.
ASPCA Mega Adoption with SSHS
SSHS will be leading this event sponsored by ASPCA and we will be working with other rescue groups and shelters. The festivities will be under a MEGA tent at Best Buy in Orland Park, Illinois

Aussie Rescue At PETCO in Bloomington/Normal Illinois
We are excited to announce that Australian Shepherd Rescue Midwest has been invited to attend an adoption event at the Petco in Normal, IL on Saturday, Jan. 7. If you are in the Bloomington area and are fostering an ASRM dog that would do well in a setting such as this, please considering coming out and joining us for a few hours. If are unable to attend, but have a foster we can borrow for a few hours, I am happy to make arrangements to pick them up from you . Even if you are not currently fostering, we would love to have you show up and help spread the word about our wonderful aussies!
The adoption event will run all day (9 am to 9 pm) and we are hoping to to have dogs available on site from around 10 am until 3 pm.
The Normal Petco is located at 1700 E . College Ave.

PETCO Adoption Day Nov 5th 2011
Come to our monthly PETCO event in St. Charles Illinois and meet available Aussies for adoption, or if you are wanting to be all the talk in your Aussie circle, or just want your dog to be the fashion diva, get a feathering done.

Bark in the Park is October 9, 2011
Australian Shepherd Rescue Midwest will be there to show our support for PAWS and other rescues in the area. See the vendors and meet some great adoption candidates.
11:00 Registration opens & the fun begins
11:00-11:50 Mutt Show sign up (behind stage)
12:00 Great American Marvelous Mutt Show
1:00 The Bark Walk begins along the Riverfront
2:30 Raffle and Silent Auction winners announced
Activities going on throughout the day (11:00-3:00) include Canine Carnival, Pawprint Painting, Dog Olympics, Doggie Toe Nail Trimming, Kids’ Activities, Demonstrations, Souvenir Photos, Vendors, Canine Good Citizen Testing, Raffles, Great Food, and more!
All dogs attending must be registered for the event.
Each dog requires a separate registration form & fee.
Only one dog per person.
You can also register and participate without a dog!
Each registrant receives a Bark t-shirt, bandanna, goodie bag, souvenir photo & may bring one dog to the event.
13 years and over – $5.00 per person
12 and under – FREE!
Fido doesn’t have to be a purebred to take part in the Great American Marvelous Mutt Show. Mixed breed or purebred – all pooches are invited to show off their talents at a dog show celebrating marvelous mutts!
Does JoJo juggle? Can Roxie rumba? Do you and Pugsley look so much alike that people get you confused? Well, pull Doogie’s best duds out of the closet and get your talented mutt ready to strut their stuff at the show. Competition Categories Include:
