8 Week Old Skyler

He decided to make the most perfect dog ever. So He took the whitest, softest clouds He could find and made her fur. Then He took the bluest ocean and made her two beautiful eyes and touched them each with a twinkling star. Then He filled her heart with all the love and goodness He had.

Skyler is a Double Merle

Well, this dog was so wonderful that all the angels in heaven wanted to play with her. So the angels and Layla just played and played. But soon the day came when God had to send Layla down to be with her forever family. But then He realized He couldn’t send this perfect dog down to earth because all the other dogs would be jealous, so He made her deaf so that she couldn’t hear the other dogs talking about her and He took away her vision in one eye so she couldn’t see the other dogs faces full of jealousy. Then God was ready to send her to us, but the angels cried and cried and Layla let them wipe their tearful faces on her beautiful white fur which is why Layla has black spots on her white fur. But God explained that Layla was being sent to earth to bring joy and happiness to us.

So Layla got ready to make the leap from Heaven but just as she jumped the angels grabbed her by the tail to keep her there and pulled her tail off, which is why Layla doesn’t have a tail. So we get to keep her for a short time until she gets to go back and play with the angels.
