He came to us from Ottawa, Illinois after a local rescue saved his life. Azel was the victim of a car accident: he was hit and left for dead on the side of the road, but has recovered now.

Azel loves to ride in the car and sleeps well in his crate. He is housebroken, loving and hardly ever barks. Azel gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He is great with young children and LOVES to play fetch (mostly with tennis balls, but also with stuffed animals).

Azel is very easy going and laid back, and even goes with his foster mom every day to work at the animal hospital. He is a great greeter! However, he does have a slight fear of men. He seems to be ok around women, but puts his eyes down when a man is in the room, but is getting better with this. Azel is being fostered in St Paul, MN.
