Adopted: Meet Charlie, a 1 year old black bi Australian Shepherd (we know he looks like a Border Collie and he probably is, but he is an Aussie now!) who is up to date on all his shots, neutered and heartworm negative. He is also crate trained and house broken and microchipped.
Charlie seems to get along with any dog he meets and all children. He is a bit energetic but has a good off switch. He knows basic commands, rides great in a car and walks fair on a leash. Charlie is very smart and would probably train out well as he is very food motivated. Charlie has great recall. He loves to cuddle, when he is wanting it.
Charlie while a great little guy, weighing around 30 pounds, does have an issue with counter surfing if things are left out and he is left alone. His foster home is working on his going out side manners as he will tend to rush out the door. We also recommend a fenced yard since he will wander, but returns if called. He will also chase cars if unattended.
