Meet Miss Ginger!
Ginger is a pretty, 1.5 year old blue merle Australian Shepherd girl with striking copper points and a full, beautiful tail! Ginger came into ASRM with her brother, Brewster. We think she stole all of his copper!
Ginger is a medium energy dog and she loves to run around in the yard and play fetch with the resident Aussie. She could easily excel in dog sports with some training! Or she’d be a great jogging partner! Ginger is a bit timid when she meets new folks, but she warms up quickly and if vert sweet. Her absolute favorite thing to do is cuddle! Once she has bonded with you, she will never leave your side!
Ginger is great with other animals. She loves dogs, cats and horses too! She has not been introduced to children, she is currently learning to not jump when she wants to say hello, so she may not be suitable for small kids. We are recommending older kids or no kids in her forever home.
Ginger knows some basic commands such as ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘stay’. She’s very smart and is learning how to heel on a leash.
Ginger has been spayed, vaccinated and hw tested negative. She’s up to date on monthly preventatives (Frontline and Interceptor) and she’s ready to find her forever family! Ginger is fostering in Nicholasville, Kentucky. If you are interested in adopting her, please complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION and reference ASRM 0141 Ginger!
