ADOPTED: Meet Jack, a 2 Year Old Blue Merle Australian Shepherd male who weighs around 50 pounds. Jack is neutered and up to date on all his shots. Jack is also housebroken and crate trained.
Jack has that typical Aussie reserve, which is why many of us want one, to be part companion, best friend, play busy and protector of us and our home. Jack is this way. He will alert when a stranger approaches his owner or his home.
Jack loves to go for walks, he is great in a car and has never gotten sick from a road trip. Jack loves toys and loves the companionship of other dogs. He loves the proverbial belly rubs and gratuitous petting that all Aussies seem to enjoy.
Jack is probably best in a home without toddlers, as he does have a confined issue when approached, if he sees no way to remove himself from a situation, he will snap, no biting but he will nip the air. As such small children sometimes don’t realize the respect and room a dog should have.
