Meet Susie, a black bi female Australian Shepherd in Missouri (ASRM #0444). Susie weighs a mere 30 pounds and is a calm Aussie.
Susie is a smart girl and is potty and crate trained. She gets to go for a walk daily and plays with her foster k-9 buddy in the yard.
She has not lived with children or cats, so ASRM cannot recommend her with them.
Susie has proven she knows the commands “sit” and “come” and she can easily be taught more words as time goes by. Aussies are extremely smart and are eager to learn and work. She is good in the car and loves to go for rides.
Susie is a tad shy and needs a calm introduction to get to know you. Once she does, she will lick your face off. She loves to cuddle and be with her human. She is good with dogs and humans once she is introduced but, again, can be a little skittish at first.
If Susie could talk she would say her biggest request is not to be left alone too much. You see, Susie was abandoned and has a bit of anxiety when left by herself. She just wants a human to love and a secure life.
Susie is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 30 lbs. She is a black bi (black and white) color and is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all state required vaccinations. She is currently taking heartworm preventative and Frontline to prevent fleas and ticks. Susie is being fostered in the central Missouri area.
