ADOPTED: Meet Tramp, a 2 year old Red Bi Male Australian Shepherd Mix. Tramp is up to date on all his shots, neutered, will be microchipped and is Heartworm Negative. Tramp is also housebroken but he is not crate-trained. He is afraid of the crate but is well behaved and has earned free roam of his foster family’s home.
Tramp is on the larger side of an Australian Shepherd at 67 pounds, is very tall, athletic and has good energy. He loves taking long walks and would do well with an owner who wants to jog or bike with him. He is good on the leash. He also loves squirrels and bunnies and would be good for a nature lover for long hikes. He may also be good for a hunting family. Tramp knows the “no” and “sit” commands and is quickly learning the other basics. He has a long tail and has a very sweet, loving disposition.
Tramp loves PEOPLE and currently lives with his foster parents, three teenagers and 2 female Aussies at his foster home. He has a slight fear in the car and currently should have a person sitting with him or be belted in. He also appears to have an issue with bigger dogs that he meets on walks. Tramp is a great candidate for a home with older children, other dogs smaller than him and daily walking or running activity.
